Avur has been a Microsoft partner since the 2000s with licence agreements that allow delivery of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office from its own data centres — without Microsoft Online and without Microsoft sign-in. The user opens the same Office suite they know. The platform runs on Avur’s infrastructure under Norwegian law. Avur likes Windows and Office. What Avur does not like is the dependency on a single vendor’s platform that the customer does not control.
